I'm in for several hundred............but I would like them to say "360 Wagner"..................now to give this newly named cartridge a title...............I like "Queen of the Medium Bores" and what a queen she is to the "True King" at 101 years old and still gaining popularity.
BUM......as far as post 96, we couldn't be so...............well I'll just leave it there!!

Jack O'Connor called the 375 H&H the Queen of the Medium bores. Fitting, I think.

P.S.

I'm flattered that you guys think of me so often that you would repeatedly bring me up in a discussion that has nothing to do with me. It's clear I've made such an impression on all of you that I am never far from your thoughts. :)

I would like to say right here, before this takes off in the wrong direction; This thread is about the 9.3X62 and one of it's greatest proponents, Ted is to the 9.3X62 what O'Connor was to the 270. This is NOT about the 375 Ruger, which every thread Gatehouse contributes to, becomes.
Gatehouse, if you don't own a 9.3X62 and are not interested in acquiring some of this specially marked brass, honoring Ted's contribution to the overall popularity of the 9.3X62 in Canada, then may I respectfully suggest you move along, as this thread holds nothing for your narrow interest perspective.

Ted is just less recognized than JOC. That's what you get when you choose ministry in the North over writing for Outdoor Life. But we know which side our bread is buttered on.

I'm with Douglas...brass in .260 Wagner would be the way to go. I'll even force my brother (who bought a .360 Wagner from Mr Wagner) to buy some too.

Thanks, I have the feeling this will turn into a little circle jerk and nothing will come of it.

Anybody care to comment on my suggestion of machining off existing headstamp on some Lapua brass and making a custom stamp to be used in a arbor press. I think an order of 5000 is too big for how many people would really be interested and fork over the cash. Unless a commercial enterprise gets involved and markets it, perhaps with a charity of Ted's choice being a benefactor. Just an idea.

The caliber was named by its creator.
What right have you to rename it?
Would you like someone to change the name your parents gave you?
Besides, for those who never went to school, Canada is officially a metric country.

First, I don't take direction from you on where or how I post, so you can get that idea out of your head right now.

Secondly, if you didn't want my participation, you should have refrained from referencing me in the first place.

I think it would be a crapload of work and if you hired someone to do it the cost could be prohibitive. I think first firing would take care of any case size irregularities resulting from the machining, but as I've never felt the need to give myself extra work for no reason, I've not ever tried it.

I am still waiting for a response to my request for a quote. At least that will put us into the ballpark, cost-wise.

Let us know the outcome. For sure will order some if someone can make it.

Still feeling that 366 Wagnum is the best name to honor Wagner & Magnum, or Wagner + Magnum. It looks like flipping the M in the word Magnum.
