atlas bipods

Hey guys, looking for input from other atlas owners. Received my atlas a couple weeks ago shot it a few times, love it... But i find the cant VERY stiff even with the tension adjuster backed all the way off. Is this normal?

I have 2 Atlas bipods, both the previous gen and the newest. When I back the tightening knob off my cant is quite loose.

I prefer my cant to be very tight anyway but you should be able to loosen it up. Your opinion of stiff may be different than mine though.

BT Industries has amazing customer service and if you give them a call directly they should be able to help you out. If Kasey picks up the phone, he is the owner and is a great guy. I have talked with him on the phone for hours chatting, and met him in person at SHOT this year.

Mine started out pretty stiff but has become quite smooth over time, like ceriksson said your perception of stiff my be different , but they defiantly don't flop around like a Harris that's completely loosened off

I received mine fairly recently as well and I've found the same thing. But it has already started to loosen up. I think it has to do with the coating they use.

Just as the others have said, it will losen up with use.

Just turn the adjuster to tighten it up.
