I was looking forward to try my half scout set up, opened up a case of Accubond 165 gr ( top ammo for a top rifle )... Did zero the 6500 1.25X8X32 with 6 rounds, those were the first shots of the rifle, i took my time and only shot @ 100 yards, pretty happy with the set up and this will be the ammo il'l be using for hunting....
Satisfactory results show me that i wont reload for this one, here are pics of the 2 best 5 shots group, remember the black dot is .7 ( target printed for my group in a dime ), those groups are -MOA but i could callet it a MOA rifle with commercial ammo... JP

Kind of weird shooting on 8X with 6 inch eye relief, but quite pleasant and accuracy wise, it doesnt seem to disturb nothing, au contraire i'd say i do for faster target aquisition, quite proud of my half scout set up, i think i just invented that, should be called the caramel set up... JP.

You must of had yer shades on when you bought that beast.
No fancy schmancy wood there.......aye?
This kamlooky is a gift from my beautifull wife, she ordered it in my back from Epps ( my older son gave her a hand, but i am not supposed to know that ), this look like a plain jane but it is a hell of a 308 rifle, less than a metre in lenght, less than 3 kg and being a Steyr Mannlicher, should i say more... JP.

Awesome shooting, that's a bad ass rifle! I held one at the shooting edge a few months ago and it felt like something out of star wars or star trek. If only I had the coin...
How do your bipod legs deploy/retract? The one I handled felt like they were going to break off every time I tried to fold them back in, and the sales man said that was normal
