So far I'm up to 11 dead this year. I was at 53 by the end of march last year. I think I could have a lot more but the weather and my time off haven't lined up yet...

They are still sleeping up here... still have nearly 4' of snow around

Looked down one hole and they had to dig a good 2' of snow to get out.

Funny. I was at 11 this morning then I thought I'd throw the old .22 mag in the truck and had it doubled by nine am.
So much fun shooting them on the snow! :-D

Super stupid? ... It is the Gopher "Rut Time". Not so much stupid as distracted. Things are late this year here and shots ar long since the snow is deep. Only have 3.

Thanks, we used to shoot a good number of gophers around here in manitoba, but last couple of years seems the yotes are killing them before we get there.
