Hello,
I made the mistake of selling my Ruger MINI 14 a few months back. Now I regret it, Any idea if any one has stock?
I have been calling around so far with no luck.
Thank you,

You also never see them sit on a shelf long either... considering the numbers in which these are produced, if they are so bad they would litter the EE and their market value would have tanked.

I've been perusing online inventories for a month or so with nothing much to show for it. Hoping to see them back in stock before summer is gone - or at least by late autumn. I want to set one up as a groundhog & coyote shooter.

I had an early model Mini-14. It was not the most accurate as compared to other option in its class. The fact is that as a CQB rifle with a non-magnified sighting system, it is perfectly adequate. What the mini-14 does better than almost everything else in its calss, is go "BANG" always!!! The Mini-14 is arguably one of the most reliable semi-auto .223/5.56 rifles available in a non-restricted rifle. Consider that this rifle is all of the following:

1) Non-restricted
2) Semi-auto
3) Under $1000
4) Incredibly reliable
5) Lots of available addons & upgrades
6) Compact & relatively light weight

What other rifle offers all of this???

Now I did sell that unit and replaced it with a 582 series with the thicker taperred barrel and it shoots 2MOA which is plenty good enough for the girls I go out with...

Please explain Naoh what you mean?

Most people find them an inaccurate, entry level rifle. I'm a believer in 'as long as you're shooting it's a good thing' but there are better options out there.

That makes me think of that old saying "there is a sucker born every minute" or perhaps many people buy Mini 14's & 30s and don't bother to shoot them or shoot them enough to know how bad their accuracy actually is,,,

I know of a reputable Gunstore/Gunsmith that will not sell them anymore due to so many complaints/comebacks with accuracy issues,,,

I got lucky and found a Mini stainless at Triggers and Bows about a month ago .Soon as i seen it on there site called and said it was mine kept it for me as the weather was crappy .Like it have only shot maybe 100 rnds through it .Not that accurate with it yet .But have great confidence in Ruger product the 1/9 twist should be good once i get more familiar with it .I no wow 100 rnds and not familiar with it remember its a semi and must play .No regrets

Wanstalls has the wood "Ranch" model, black barrel, at the moment. They even have it on special, $799 so expect stock to run out by the time you read this...

I love this guys range....but not to hi-jack the OP I have an older Mini-14 and it is great for what this guy is doing...and non-restricted.

yes hancock 45 has a great range and is a great shot hates optics all his videos are for real like that .But still like my Mini and wont get in to the politics

I'd say if you do find one grab it right away if that's what you want. Ruger apparently has almost a 2 year backlog on rifle orders (million +) so you might not see it again for quite a while!
