I don't really think CZs look like an AK... The only thing that is similar is the mag. Handguards are way different, bolts and dust covers aren't even close and the gas system is completely different...

Buuuut... to anyone who is not familiar with Vz/CZ's, they do look like an AK.
Long story short.. I think that a Vz58/CZ858 in 7.62x25 would certainly sell and is a do-able thing if a manufacturer was interested. I know for a fact that I'm sitting on a small mountain of dirt cheap 7.62x25 that will take me a long time to run through my TT-33 at my current rate. A carbine/rifle that shoots it would help me speed up the process.
Yes to socialist gun grabbers and maybe newcomers to shooting sports it might. I do agree that they would sell like hot cakes though if it did come to market.
No need for a norc in that calibre apparently citadel is making an m1 carbine in 9mm.

Having converted a Sks to 7.62x25 gas operated not blow back you would need to shorten the gas system and open the gas hole to get enough gas to operate it. Blowback would be problematic cause I don't think you would beable to get enough bolt mass in the space required. This is the problem I had with the Sks when I tried to run it on blowback.
