Hey CGN,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the valuable information you guys have up here. It has all been truly helpful in me selecting and acquiring my first 9mm pistol. I was looking for a polymer frame with good ergos, relatively low cost, good quality and pleasing aesthetics. For those reasons I was originally looking at an S&W MP9, Steyr M9, Walther PPQ, Taurus 24/7 etc.
After looking through some CGN threads posted by others in my same boat, I heard about the Jericho 941. This thing really took the cake for me. It had everything I was looking for. Decocker, SA/DA, very pleasing to look at, Polymer frame etc. I had a hard time finding one so I posted it up on EE to see what was around. I got many replies (and thank you to everyone who reached out with suggestions or offers to sell) but nothing fit the bill, and every retailer was sold out.
This last weekend I happened by chance to be at Wholesale Sports (yes i know, its not a small LGS and it gets some heat on this forum). They don't advertise what they carry well, because online they didn't have much at all but in store they had some great selection. They had plenty 941s in both steel and polymer range kits, CZ75, MP9 etc.. I was very pleased and purchased it immediately
So if anyone else is looking for one in the Edmonton area, none of the CGN sponsors I contacted had any in stock and no ETA on arrival. WSS on Yellowhead has quite a few in stock still.
I'm picking up later today and will post pictures.
Thanks again!
Edit: Well I've got it in my hands now. I must say I am SO IMPRESSED with how easily this thing takes down. It has to be the easiest firearm to disassemble. It feels great and the grip fits quite nicely in my hand. One of the reasons I went with the polymer over steel is that I found the steel to be a bit chunkier in my hand (I don't have large bear paws).
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, I could get out the camera but I don't have a nice backdrop to photograph against anyways.
Last pictures shows it in pieces. the one pin comes out and its ready for cleaning!
