Hi there,
I recently just got my CSA VZ 58 and took it to the range today.
Everything went alright, One of my mags is having some feeding issues (might be the ammo).
The butt stock seems to be a tad bit loose and jiggles around.

More importantly i just got it home and am trying to clean it however the spring attached to the receiver cover that goes into the charging handle is stuck.
And i mean very stuck, It's almost like they have become one piece. The spring that goes into the firing pin is free and can be removed but i don't want to do it incase of issues right now.

I can still put them back into the rifle and cycle it but something is wrong here.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks!

Nevermind, A little bit of elbow grease got them to finally come apart.

However, Does anyone elses stock jiggle a little?

Another thing i noticed is the ejection of spent shells is completely random, I had shells eject up and to the left, Up and to the center and up and to the right.

Can i control this somehow?

not really supposed to take that spring off....... it is meant to be stuck

if stock jiggles, tighten the bolt down

ejection........ hmm not sure, what ammo are you using?

the springs are supposed to be attached to the receiver cover only, Not the bolt.
The issue i was having is that it was stuck inside the bolt, When you disassemble the VZ the springs slide out with the receiver cover. Bolt comes out with no springs.

Just using some surplus 7.62.

Where is this bolt to tighten to make the stock stop jiggling?

Thanks!

Oh stuck inside bolt. Never seen that one before.....
Buttstock bolt is inside buttstock. Remove buttplate then you'll need a long screwdriver or tire iron works.

First off is it a folding stock??
If it is and it is the arm that is loose, notnmuch ya can do.
If its a fixed stock, take buttplate of via the 1 screw and insert a long tire iron to tighten the stock bolt that holds it to the reciever.

Try pressing the trigger next time to take it apart. Only way to disengage the bolt from the spring.

One of my CZ's throws brass every where. Nothing to worry about
