xl650 primer system reliability?

how reliable is the xl650 primer system vs 1050?

I've had my Dillon 650 for about 6 months and have loaded 5000 45 ACP with zero problems. Priming system is flawless, I've heard of guys having problrms from not keeping it clean so I give it a blast from my air compressor. Never had a 1050 so can't comment.

I've never used a 1050 but have loaded upwards of 40,000 rnds on a 650, I can't remember more than 4 or 5 primer crushing's ( two of them ignited, no damage but immediately had my full attention!!!!!) and a couple of rnds with up-side down primer. 99% of the primers I use are Federal

I guess it's better than my loadmaster 1 in 5 bad primer. (missing, upside down, sideways, crushed)

both flawless if set up properly/ tuned. I'm presently running 2 xl650's. buy the video too!

I have both. 1050 and 650. I'd say I have more crushed primers on the 1050!

650 is the way to go for progressive loading.

Have the 650. Works 100% for me. Had 1 or 2 upside down.
The lee I had before is a piece of junk compared to a Dillon.

Btw. Dillon has an primer tube filler.
Think the product code is RF100.
Pretty need. There are a few videos on YouTube on how it's works

Uh yeah, but the Lee press plus dies costs less then the Dillon primer tube filler
