Just got a call about a Winchester Model 61 pump and an 1890. The 1890 is out of the question: the stock is held together with screws.
The Model 61 is suppose to be in fairly nice shape. The guy is going to send pics and serial number and he is also going to check the bore with a scope.
He said the stock would`nt need much if any to refinish. I have appointments this morning, but he should have me pics by noon. I know the 61 is more collectable then the 62 and it is also "hammerless"!!!
