PGW Timbewolf pros and cons? looking for opinions

Posting some pictures of you with one would go a long way to giving you some credibility....maybe pics of any kind?

I for one, think you're a poser....that's Only MY opinion....

I hope this guy produces credentials to shut you bunch of PMS'ing b!tches up. This thread is ridiculous.

As for posers you have a picture of a T'Wolf on a bench and you're supposed to be a credible advocate of the the amazing performance of a PGW Timberwolf? Seriously? How many rounds have you even put through that gun and what have you directly compared it to? Just because you can afford to own a Timberwolf doesn't mean you are qualified to effectively evaluate it. I have buddies that have some pretty exotic cars and sport bikes but cant drive/ride for sh!t.

And before the PGW fanboys have an emotional breakdown, I've owned a few PGW guns and still have one in the safe so I'm very familiar with their product past to present.

Laugh2

Lets see...

I never evaluated it, I bought it on a whim just because I thought I might want to try long range shooting.

I stated many times that I have not even shot it yet

I am totally not qualified to "effectively evaluate" it

These are things I can (and have) admit(ed) to. I'm not trying to be something I'm not....

I'm likely going order the PGW LRT-3 too, just because I'd like a 50 BMG, and I can.

Will it bother you if I say I like it, post pictures of it on a bench, but don't shoot it a lot?

So in other words a poser.

Evidence or source!!!!??? WTF am I? I personally shot one yesterday that couldnt group under 5 inches at 100m!! It had 800 rounds down the pipe and chronied at 3056 fps. Thats the 4th gun that ive personally witnessed go down. Im done debating this. They will be sent back to the manufacturer asap and thats all.

So why do you feel it necessary to come on here and bad mouth
PGW instead of working with them to resolve your issues? Why do you feel
It is necessary to come on here and complain? If you are so
Passionate about this take one apart check concentricity of chamber
To bore slug the barrel see if it opens up anywhere along the bore ect.
Maybe Dirteemax will get his lathe setup and he can show you how it's
Done

Yep. You are correct. I am a poser for buying quality items, talking about their build quality, and getting around to using them when I have time....Pretty sure I can comment on feel and build quality, as well as post PGW's specs and references, which is all I ever did...

I usually find that most people's objections and argumentative states come not from a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of funds

All CF issued rifles both new and re barreled pass DND accuracy testing on a live fire range witnessed by DND quality assurance personnel. No exceptions.

This is of course not to say that no problems ever develop because as with any infantry issued weapon problems do for a wide variety of reasons. Dealing with CF bureaucracy to deal with issues is a massive undertaking that you have to have lived through to appreciate.

So as previously noted Swissin is entitled to both his opinion and our gratitude for his service and I hope the weapons he speaks of do make it back here through the system one day for proper evaluation however holding one's breath waiting for that to happen could be hazardous to your health.

I could also go on and on about unauthorized modifications and "repairs" that have been done to in service rifles we have seen but that would serve no purpose other than giving certain people more to complain about.

I would be happy to personally speak with any CF member who feels they have witnessed sub-standard performance. Simply email me at rs@pgwdti.com with a phone # and I will give you a call.

Frankly, I could care less about this whole debate. I am not taking sides, I simply found it offensive that you would call out someone out as a "Poser" without knowing anything about them or their background, particularly considering by your own admission you do not shoot LR nor have even fired your gun.
This could very well be another of Dirteemax's user names but lets wait and see what this guy comes back with before calling him a "poser" after his 6th post.
I agree with your last statement about peoples envy's and jealousy's causing them to take a negative position against things they may never own, but I can assure you that if it's me, it is not due to a "lack of funds".

Thank you rsp1761for being one of the only people on here with some common sense. I fully know the bs that we have to go thru to get anything done in a large organization. As I stated IN THE FIRST PLACE(mattmoser) most of the weapons are stellar but some are not. it happens.

I would not argue that you are always going to have issues
With equipment. I have worked on a wide variety of equipment
Including life support systems allot of the systems I worked with
We're the best available. That said there were always issues its how
Well they were dealt with by the manufacture that set them apart in allot
Of cases.

I do understand dealing with make work pencil pushers can make
You crazy and pretty much derails anything getting done properly.
I have more then enough experience dealing with Government
Smoke and mirror paper pushers who I fn hate except one Greek sheep molester
Who is reading this thread:p

And with regards to this dirteemax individual...I have friggin no idea who he is or what he did to piss all of u off but he sure as hell isn't me.

Ha, don't worry about is swissinn. I hope you take Ross up on his offer and work out whatever issues you have had/are having. I know the principals at PGW quite well and they will do everything they can to help. I have seen it first hand.

Thats funny! Marcoman has a PGW as well as quite a few very high end precision rigs, not to mention enough money tied up in optics to put a large downpayment on a large house.

Well I guess that means you must be wealthy? It looks like you need the money by what you are asking for your Twolf on the EE.
Whatever, you just keep commenting on the "fit and finish" of your Timberwolf. Poser.

I have actually emailed them before WRT torque specs and such. its often faster than going thru the wpns techs.

Well he was a guy on here who was banned. He had a story that
I do not fully remember but it was along the lines that he knew/met a sniper
Or armorer at this demo day and i think he shot a Twolf he is also
From Alberta. So when you came along it looked like you were ether
Dirtemax or an aquitenance of Dirteedouche. So that's
Why people found it suspicious.
