Christensen Arms are a specialty manufacturer, producing custom firearms from advanced materials with the highest level of care and precision -- these folks build rifles, pistols, and components from carbon fiber, titanium, tungsten, aerospace aluminum, and the highest grades of steel available on the production market today. We have been consistently wowed by the extremely low weight and slick fit of their firearms. Christensen Arms CA-15 RECON 5.56x45mm/.223REM Rifles
The finest lightweight AR15 rifles on the planet, with custom machined receivers, oversized takedown pins, Magpul CTR stocks and Hogue grips, Timney triggers, oversized Wilson Combat bolt releases, ambidextrous magazine releases, Troy BattleMag 5/30, and proprietary piston driven operation. These come with the hallmarks of Christensen Arms: super strong ultralight carbon fiber modular handguards, and the famous ultralight carbon fiber-wrapped match grade bull barrels with 1:7" twist. These barrels weigh about as much as a pencil profile barrel but shoot with the stiffness and accuracy of a heavy profile barrel. These rifles are capped off with a proprietary titanium flash hider, bringing the entire package in at the 6lb mark -- an insanely light bull-profile 16" with oversized/ambi controls AR15, unmatched by any other on the market! Christensen Arms CA-10 RECON 7.62x51mm/.308WIN Rifles
These follow in the tracks of the CA-15 RECON rifles, but hit harder and longer. The CA-10 RECON rifles are extremely lightweight fullsize AR-10 style rifles, featuring many of the same features as the CA-15 RECON rifles -- custom machined receivers, oversized takedown pins, Magpul ACS stocks and Hogue grips, oversized Wilson Combat bolt releases, Timney triggers, and ambidextrous magazine releases. For maximum precision and reduced weight, these feature low profile gas impingement operation and the same style of carbon wrapped match-grade 16" barrel chambered for .308WIN (and therefore also 7.62x51 NATO). These rifles share DPMS/KAC SR25 style magazines (which are also used in the XCR-M rifle from Robinson Arms) and also feature the proprietary Christensen Arms titanium flash hider.
