Ar15 program on cnbc at 10

Its actuaLly quite pro gun. I just watched parts of it, and it explains a lot of miss conceptions about Armalite Rifles. It goes on to explain things like how shootings sadden the gun communitys just as much the anti's... And that gun owners are dentists, pro athletes, lawyers, school teachers, and not just farmers and rednecks..... The gun isnt a machine gun, and its no more powerful than your grandpas hunting rifle, yadda yadda yadda.

I want to see the whole thing but cant find it anywhere. Post a link if someone finds it

The PVR recorded the repeat last night and I just watched it. It wasn't as bad as I expected it might be, but with some of the usual things I expected. They did try to make James Yeager look bad, but he ended up walking out of the interview when they asked about his "Pack Your Bags" rant video. I'm surprised he didn't see that coming. Unless they had an agreement ahead of time not to discuss it?

Overall it was entertaining, worth watching.

The part where the emergency room doctor is commenting on the devastating 5.56/.223 wounds was very misleading. She obviously only has experience with handgun wounds. I'm quite sure that a hunting accident involving a 30-06 would make for a much worse wound than a .224 diameter bullet, no matter how much it might tumble.

Ya, I was a bit annoyed by that scene. I wish they had done a bit more comparison between the AR and other rifles, but it obviously not their intent to show that there were much more lethal rifles (and rounds) that didn't come in a scary black package.

They had one scene where a gun store employee explained that the m1 was much more powerfull than an ar 15. Didnt delve into that as much as I would have liked, but they at least mentioned it.
