Those who have competed with both - thoughts? What guns do yo have with Poly rifled barrels? Accuracy? Reliable?
Reloaders - did you need to adjust loads to factor in pressure gain in Poly rifling?

I've used a Glock and a HK USP in competition. I just used a bit less powder and used the Chroney to adjust my loads.

I think the accuracy issue isn't noticeable for the type of shooting I did (centre of mass hits).

while I am new to this(competitive shooting), I do have a poly barrelled pistol. Ruger SR9. I found that 124grn reloads are noticeably more accurate than AE 115grn off the shelf ammo.

2 mags at 10 meters center of mass with the AE ammo is sorta shotgun pattern looking. Good average, bag guy would be dead, not bad. but same number of rounds with the reloads, its quite a bit tigher over all. No fliers, less "I want that shot back" kinda things too.

And overall I find it a more accurate pistol than several others I have shot and seen shot. its about on par with CZ pistols from what I can tell.

Well... I will find out soon ;-)

I got one of these in .40S&W. I like it. It has a nice crisp trigger, and superb accuracy. If your shots all of a sudden start to climb, check the sight. My elevation screw started backing out from the recoil. Nothing a drop of blue loctite can't fix. I also got the .22lr. conversion. I had to machine an thighter barrel bushing. Improved accuracy considerably. It loves anything high velocity.

Good choice
