Quad gun

870 with a 12.5 Dominion barrel - barrel comes out even with the standard mag tube, the plastic furniture is lighter and doesn't get scuffed (or at least if it does, it can't possibly get uglier). You should be able to do the whole thing new for about $500. Incidentally, this combo works very well and handles very nicely in close quarters.

my vote goes to the maveric 88 security. mine has never let me down in over 6 years in the bush and with a pistol grip it fits into the storage box very nicely. plus you can't go wrong for under $300 all in

Only complaint about this setup is that when its loaded it gets heavy.
Also the stock hurts like hell when shooting slugs threw it. I've only shot it a few times.
I do like its size. I also have a flash light for it.

Here is my 12.5" DA Grizzly with Hogue Stock sitting on my Brute Force. I would stick with the 12.5" barrel. As you can see its plenty short enough, not to interfere with riding. you still get 5 round capacity and iron sights. The 8.5" barrel gives a bead only and reduced mag capacity, the 12.5" barrel configuration also allows you to use any standard 870 barrel.

I have gungrips on the front rack to secure it and wrap a piece of old raincoat around it when in the mud.

Ok...the only ones I have seen are 8.5", 12.5", 15", 18.5" and maybe longer. Hadn't heard of the 13.5" barrel. Who makes that one? The place I got my Grizzly-Mag was www.canadaammo.com (site sponsor). Shipping was fast and they are reliable.

Got this out of a shop in ontario. Guy swore it wasn't a Griz, but as far as I can tell it was... But now I wonder... the forearm is slightly different than any griz's I have seen and the barrel length.

RB.

Are you measuring it correctly?Id be making sure that it wasnt cut that short
Ive never seen or heard one that length before

I have a Dominion Arms grizzly-mag with 3 different barrels. No matter what they look pretty cool. Folding stocks make them even more compact. Can't beat the price either. I tried to merge a couple of these posts without success so I apologize.
