Hey,

Took a first attempt at stippling today, and wanted to do it on something relatively low cost/easily replaceable if I messed up, so I chose to stipple one of my PMAGS.

I thought it turned out alright so I took some pictures, and thought I would share!

Decided to start first with a little portion on the baseplate to practice:

Then I took a shot at a bigger portion.

And, the finished product (I purposely chose to stipple only certain portions of the mag)

Turned out pretty well IMO for a first attempt! Very tedious/takes lots of time and concentration but I think it was worth it, and is actually kind of fun to do!

A Pmag low cost ????? Are you crazy...... You can sell Pmags for 200-500$/Ea. On the EE ;)

Seriously nice job.

lol, it's low cost in comparison to my Glock frame that I want to stipple!

And hell, if I had screwed it up, it would have still been useable... it would have just been the ugly duckling in my family of PMAGs

Thanks!

I'll try to post some new pictures later, I'm trying a little different technique. Making the stippling a little larger, gives it even more grip. Hopefully it turns out as well as the other did!

Wow looks great, must have taken a while you sure did fine stippling.

I did my shotgun grip years ago; coarser stippling this only took half an hour or so but makes a huge difference in usability.

It was my first go at a bigger surface area so I figured I'd take it easy and go really small and light to start. I'm in the process of doing a coarser pattern right now and it's going pretty well!

That grip looks great, I'm going to be doing one like that for one of my buddies soon!

Cheers
