SKS cleaning rod question

What cleaning kit is a good one? I saw a lot of cleaning kits for $30-$60 in local stores, but I wasn't impressed. Besides SKS cleaning rod fits in the hole of the cap of SKS cleaning kit which saves barrel crown from wear during cleaning.

I avoid using the SKS one, it's steel and not protected by any type of coating. I can see myself nicking the barrel some how.

I got a generic cleaning kit with a small caliber brass rod sections and for larger caliber they are steel coated in rubber. I also have one piece fiberglass rods, which I use more often then the sectionals.

If your going to spend money on a decent kit, look at the OTIS master kit. It's pricey, but from what I've read, it's the "cat's meow". I'm seriously looking into one myself.

Thanks, I'll look for OTIS kit too, but you can't nick the SKS barrel if you use SKS cleaning kit as per the army manual, i.e. put a cap on the barrel and put rod through the hole in the cap. I would get something nicer though for cleaning the chamber and gas tube.
