Beretta launching ARX100 ... 556 OR 300 BLACKOUT

Hmm, I've been toying with the idea of getting an NR that can hold a candle to an AR.
But realistically, $1950 ? So 2300- 2500 up here ? And maybe we can have one by 2015 ?

Well the Italians make decent guns so i wouldn't mind trying out the arx. It looks a little different but so did the tavor when it came out in canada. Now everyone has one and not to many complain about the ergonomics anymore.

Why can't we see a non restricted rifle comparable to the ar platform that is not a thousand bucks more then a upper tear ar like the DD?

It just sucks having to pay a 1000 $ premium to have a non restricted stamp on a gun.... no wonder those gun only get traction here in canada and not in the us.

Looks like a well thought out and it's lightweight for a piston gun but that's because it's plastic. Priced the same as an xcr, I would probably go with a metal xcr.

I think the arx 100 may have more to offer than the xcr-l assuming it functions well etc. I own an xcr-l so no prejudice here. A 300 blackout barrel would be great for hunting among other things (for me).

AR15s are cheaper because they've been around for ever and everyone makes them.

Everything new and shiny is expensive

That looks interesting. Well designed.

Incredibly well designed. The fore grip area is a special heat resistant techno polymer that can resist massive amounts of heat. You can shoot until the barrel is glowing white hot and it will not get hot or melt. The switchable charging handle and ejection system are great for barricade shooting.
