Persian Mauser Pictures up now, but still would like to know what it is worth ???????

Every thread I read these days always ends up like this, always a couple of smart asses have to proove there awesomness to the rest of us. Getting sick of it. We know how you used to buy garands for 120$, and all the other crap, good for you. Enjoy it and leave us alone.

Now at the Calgary Gun Show these were actually the $99 Garands with the mismatched wood. And there was the $600 Garands from Quebec about 3-4 years ago. These are the ones you are seeing with the Backyard Bathtub Parkerizing Job and a $99 Boyds stock selling for $1800-$2200 Pimped Price. So many people are clued right out as to what goes on behind the scenes.

it is called the small man's small #### syndrome, and unfortunately it is incurable.

BTW everybody knows that coyotes have minuscule reproductive organs.

Again, it is a very nice looking example of an Iranian Mauser. Ultimately it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. On re-examining the photos, is that a crack in the stock at the back of the upper tang of the action? Maybe its just the lighting. If it is a crack it should be repaired and the tang moved out of hard contact with the wood by placing a shim against the recoil lug surface of the stock and/or relieving some wood at the rear of the tang. It seems counter-productive to continue a pi$$ing cost over its current re-sale value after 63 posts on the topic.
