For all those who think they didn't proof test the rifle, that a look at this...

That "proof tested" tag definitely came from the manufacture. It has that typical Chinese font that you would see with their product.
But who knows, it could have been alright when they checked it, and could have been seriously damaged during shipping. I doubt it was that though, or else the stock would have been damaged too. Or maybe all that oil just ain't good for the rifle, everything in moderation right?!....
Inside the box it even came with a check list showing everything it comes with. According to the paper, packer 8 did its job in insuring that i get my rifle, mags, sling and cleaning kit, but inspector J 028 failed his part. They probably need to pay these people more, or give em 12 hour shifts instead of 24 (jokes) ... or else they are just going to be passing these off as airsoft gun...

I'm definitely going to stop by the store this week and see what they can do for me, because as shredder said, it is unacceptable. It definitely raises some safety concerns, I mean I put my off hand near that gas cylinder. If I were to shoot it and I had over looked the crack I might have lost some fingers. So for those who recently bought an m305, do check the rifle, there could be more than just my rifle, but hopefully not.
