Quick question i have found someone that has a m305 with no stock he is willing to sell me. This is good as i will put aftermarket on anyways. Just wondered if 225+ 30 shipping is a decent deal??? Saw pictures of it looks clean. It sounds reasonable to me what you think??

Come on, here's your chance yet another M305 thread that you can go off on. Or are you waiting to build the excitement?

All valid questions to me. A good price not doubt but let the buyer beware....do you know the guy?

I don't know the guy but he says the man he bought it from dropped it and cracked the stock so he took it off. He estimated about 700-1000 rounds down range but has not had it headspaced. The man he bought it from had a nice collection and he does as well. He showed me some pics of his gun room wow. Custom door poured right into the concrete tons of guns on the wall. He said if it doesn't work he is willing to take it back no questions asked. Gun looks clean in the pictures yet he himself has never shot the rifle. I'm willing to take a chance if he is willing to take it back.

He "dropped" the rifle and the stock cracked badly enough that he removed it and threw it out?

Unless you can lay eyes on it, and have it examined before giving him any cash, stay away from it... that's a rather fishy sounding story.

Headspace - the great Satan.

Just how many M305's (of course this never happens with the M1A since it's produced in a democracy), have induced injury or damage due to headspace being out of spec?
