New Batch of SKS arrived at westrifle

Yes all sold Sks will be delayed price increase war now. So buy whatever you see cheap on the market. I have been saying it for a while to everyone here.

I laugh when people doubt that the SKS will go up in value. Supply won't last forever. The US market should be an example of such things. They have had an artificial end of supply with the embargo against Russian and Chinese imports and look at the prices there. Unrefurbished, matching guns going for near $1000. Mismatched, forced matched run of the mill Tulas going for $500 and up.

But no, won't ever happen here, not possible, no way, nope.

I'm going down to the Home Hardware store to buy one of those $25 Enfields my dad keeps talking about. They got barrel fulls. Wait, maybe he said "used to have".
 
It will increase by how much I do not know. All dealers having issues in bringing those in. There is 1000 pcs that arriving in Ontario but all of those will go to Canadian tire or wholesale. We never know what that dealer will decide to do. I can not tell you the name of dealer because it is his own business please do not ask me for info. There is also some SVT and tt33 in that shipment. It might have landed in Canada already :)
 
I am former russian military officer, shot bunch of them new and old.
There is no bad or good sks, they all come from two russian plants with the same quality and are not designed for precision shooting. If you can buy them for $170 - why in the world would you want to pay $500 for the same thing.

It always goes up... might be sooner... might be later.... but it always goes up....

I wish you luck :). That said I picked up a sweet unrefurb Izzy, all matching for 195 bucks at a local gunshop just the other day. There were other collectibles in the crate that they had at the time. I just didn't wanna justify more than 1 more SKS that day to my better half. Gonna stop by there tomorrow and see what else I can find this week!! You never know what you will find in a crate of SKS's!!!
