If you are travelling in the Middle East, you can get in to see the Royal Tank Collection in Jordan.

Many of the tanks in the museum today were the personal tank collection of the late King Hussein.

When you are the King, you can DO that! He also had a collection of fighter planes, all of which he was qualified to fly.

Tank Collection includes several extremely-rare British interwar types which you will not find anywhere else.

When "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" appeared, there was a screen credit at the end, thanking King Hussein for the use of his tanks.

This screen credit seems to have "disappeared" from current releases of the film, but it WAS there.

I have been lucky enough to visit Jacques Littlefield's collection, some great history there. If you care to see some pics, Warning, I am not a photographer nor tech savy guy, go to the site WWW.imgur.com and look up Ramchuck albulms, thats me. Just the armour is from J.L collection.

Probably Indiana jones and the Last Crusade. It is partially set in Jordan, and has some old behemoth tank.

Yes, some of this was filmed at Petra, AKA 'the rose red city", in Jordan. I visited the place twice and found it fascinating. One neat part of the movie features the treasury building which is the first thing you come to after passing thru the narrow canyon, or siq, which leads into Petra.
