Holy crap man. Obviously this is your first time getting in on a deal like this. These guys aren't freaking Amazon. I'm guessing the man power behind their company isn't exactly staggeringly high. A lot of people have waited weeks/months just for the CFO to ok their deals. If you wanted it in your hands tomorrow you should have probably ponied up the extra dough and ordered it from someone else for $200 more.

Can anyone else picture the CFO's coming in on a Monday after a long, relaxing weekend to find 98359 transfers for the same gun all coming from the same place? First reaction, utter disbelief, second of "Holy Sh*t! I Gotta Get To CanAm!"
 
Envision the chaos for the T97 arrival. 1911s most of us have at least one, but the T97. Folks will be making the long drive to North Van to pick them up.

two hands... but how many holsters can you fit on your belt? when you run out of ammo with one gun, switch guns instead of mags

as for how many they have, it was a cancelled military order... how many guns would an army order? probably enough to arm the entire army then a few for back ups / new guys

My wife doesn't have her ATT and she keeps dragging her feet in getting it, so I ordered this in her name so now she will own a restricted which might get her to actually apply for her long term.

Is this confirm by can am? If it is in deed a cancel military order could/should we expect better QC?
 
It'd explain the lack of Norinco and Made In China marks. What army is going to admit to ordering Chinese guns? ;P

...the Peoples Army notwithstanding..

Just wait till when/if they're sold out. Lots of people have double or triple ordered with the idea of putting the extra ones on E.E., for a tidy profit.
When it is discovered that there is such a glut of them, on the "used" market, you can likely pick up the gun alone, for 150 bucks!;)
