How do I find out what this is worth to sell? Anschutz 22lr with scope

30 year old rifle with a beech stock . they sold for $75 .new in 1965 with a walnut stock. 1983 walnut stock, heavy barrel ,fancy target sights , new $185.

Not sure what you are saying. What a gun sold for 30 or 50 years ago means nothing in today's value. There are numerous guns worth more today than what they sold for when new.

In 1982 I bought a new Anschutz 54.18MS for under $600. I would want twice that or more if I sold that rifle today !

the 54.18s is one of the top of the line Anschutz and it seems you got a good deal if you paid less than $600. for it.
but I think were still talking about the CIL180 made by Anschutz for the Canadian market.

what are cooeys selling for in your area now? and show me the quality in the CIL Anschutz compared to the other Anschutz of the day.

gaff
You should be able to acquire some nice firearms at your anticipated prices and walk away with a smile ,anticipating the profits when you sell them to all of the misinformed respondents on this thread.

That's a CIL 111, not a 180 or 190. It's also missing the front and rear sights. Still looks to be in exceptional condition. The trigger should be adjustable, and they are nice. I doubt you'll get anyone even sniffing around if you ask $300, unless that scope is something valuable.

Rifle alone, around $200. But that's only because it's 'unknown' to most people. It's still a quality rifle, probably very accurate.

Can you please elaborate on the 111 designation ? The 64 action has the bolt handle in line with the trigger, lesser actions had the handle forward of the trigger guard. I have a 310 and a 190, both have the same 64 action as pictured. The 180 had a 64 action, plain stock, no adjustable butt plate and no rail in the forearm. This could be posted at Rimfire Central, some pretty knowlegeable people there.

Grouse man set it straight as to what it is and what it is worth and even he was generous with the price . Metal bender get your research wright before you kick your mouth in gear the 64 action and the 111 action have nothing in common

struff55, when you learn to read and write, read the post again. I stated that the 64 action was different than lesser Anschutz actions. Since I can look at my Anschutz rifles and not just dream about them, I have my facts in hand. A little pic for show and tell for you, does the gun in the top of the add look like the OP's pic??? Stock?? Bolt handle?? Action?? Before you slam some one here get your head out of your a## and do research as you said.

sometimes people make mistakes, they look very similar. no sense getting in a huff.
they are very nice rifles, and we all feel your pain ,if you over paid . thats how it goes sometimes.
