Taking a kx3 off a 13.7 inch barrel and installing another flash suppressor

Hey all,

I'm pretty new to the ar game, so excuse me if the question is stupid,

I'm purchasing a noveske infidel complete rifle off of the ee and it comes stock with a kx3. Now I've been doing a lot of research and from what I've read the kx3 is extremely good for short barrels 7.5, 10 inch etc... And people have stated it is not needed for reliability on rifles any longer than that. The noveske infidel is a 13.7 inch barrel and I would like to take the pig off to save weight plus I don't care for how it looks with the barrel extending a tad passed the end of the rail. Would this effect reliability or accuracy at all? I'd probably be putting a battle comp on it and selling the flaming piggy on the ee.

Biggest difference you'll probably notice is the weight. You should also see less muzzle jump with a Battlecomp.

So what you're saying is, I won't suffer in reliability, and the gun will be lighter and have less muzzle jump?

In regards to accuracy and reliability, it won't do anything, it's just a muzzle device.
