I'm a little confused, I ordered on the 23rd still haven't heard anything. Talked my buddy into buying one a week later and his has been sent to the CFO already. I've got no problem waiting if my orders going to be processed on a first come, first serve basis, but someone ordering a week after already having theirs done kinda gets on my nerves. Let me know if I'm out of line just wanted to get that out.

In the same boat with no oars. Visa was charged and process over a week ago but transfer has not been started and I live in BC! I know that because I spoke to RCMP today about 2 other transfers and nothing on radar for this deal. Kinda ticked to hear late buyers getting transfers done first though. Another purchase from back east was completed and approved in one week. BC is getting better it seems but only if seller initiates first!

No...not really out of line to be annoyed, though I can understand if they just grab a random stack of paperwork to chew through every day because the workload is high.

A manager once told me there were 3 ways to meet a difficult deadline: reduce the standard, stretch the timeline, or hire more help

Pick the least unacceptable and accept the consequences.
 
I'm in Yellowknife and convinced that Canada Post sometimes forgets we're here. In any case, I ordered and my payment was accepted on the 24th of April as well and I haven't heard anything yet either. I called Canada Ammo today on another matter and received the message that "their voicemail box is full and cannot accept any more messages". Judging by that alone tells me that they must be up to their arses in orders with this deal. Patience is a virtue, I guess. They've yet to disappoint.
 
I ordered a week earlier, payment confirmed on the 23rd, and have yet to receive anything else ... so I think they may just be grabbing the closest pile.....

I found a S&W 625 in Ontario that I paid for last Tuesday and received Monday this week......so maybe the CFO in Ontario is starting to clear things up........but if CA doesn't submit the transfer, its all for not anyway....so here's hoping they get to my pile soon.
 
Man, I couldn't resist. Just ordered one. I was kinda hoping by the time I got to the end of the thread that it would be sold out as I'm freakin broke! DOE!!!!

Same thing here for me in BC...transfer request has been started.

I've never ordered a restricted online before...am I completely passive on this, or do I need to call the CFC, dance like a monkey, etc?

CA order gets processed, then they sit on it, (could be 1 week with your money) until a bunch of AT Application (ea province , different day), when ATT gets back to them then they can ship. ( usaually 2-7 days )however its not whats happening,, JUST saying! they need to improve processing time! Now for those whom dont like it , suck it up.. The alberta CFO, when called directly to locate a transfer. never was aware that a transfer was in process,, so go figure, Your order may vary! just saying!

Ordered mine on April 23rd, Payment accepted on the April 28th and also still no shipping or transfer initiated notices. Being patient as I figured they would be extremly busy with all the orders. Seems strange that people who ordered them a week before others are getting theirs processed so quickly.

That was actually my point....I don't mind waiting, but when the process timing goes "willy-nillly", it tends to raise some ire.....
 
Got one coming, hope they are still around in june, want another, but can't swing it yet! The cool factor just jumped up a couple notches if these are cancelled or over runs of a police or military order!! Maybe Canam can spill the beans and tell us!?!
