Hornady interlock loading data for .308Win

update: this combo is very short when the bullet is seated that it kinda scares me a little.

got a reply from Hornady: they have no data for this combo and asked me to call my powder manufacturer, which I did.

I called hodgdon and spoke with a nice fellow named Mike. he searched in pretty much all of his manuals/data lists that would match the IMR3031( or other ImR powders) to hornady's #3060 bullet and he had nothing neither. the only reliable data was in the 30-30 section.

so after all of this, Ill just bite the bullet and sell them for cheap or keep them until i decide to try them out later on.

thanks for the help and insight!!!

If you want to use them than use the .307winchester data I posted. A .307 and a .308 are basically the same thing except the .307 is a rimmed cartridge designed for use in a lever action rifle. As a matter of fact when reloading .307 ammo you actually use .308 dies. The only other difference is thicker case walls on the .307
