Mounting scope

Hey all. I have just purchased a Tikka t3 Hunter 25-06 and am planning to mount my Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x50 with 30mm tube on it. I want to get the scope as close to the barrel as possible. Can someone recommend the best rings and bases to use for this application? Thanks.

Use Weaver rings.
 
I used medium talley lightweights when I had it mounted on my savage. I was hoping to get the bell a little lower.

The ones I used on my savage were listed as .500 for height according to the Talley website. They did offer lows at .400 and extra low at .300. Unfortunately the ones listed as lows for my Tikka are .500 height. Unless I'm on the wrong track with those height numbers, I don't think I can get the scope to sit any lower on my Tikka than it did on my Savage.
