*******StarShooter African padouk FTR setup : Kelbly, Bartlein, March****************

depend on the dates, is this at the Borden base ? If so, I was there last year and just cant forget the awesome weekend it was ))) what an awesome range to shoot !! The sound of the firing rifle in the close woods is just great.

I remember you from last years ORA match Jonathan, yes it's at Borden. You did very well as I recall and it looks like you will be doing even better this year if you come out.

I have a feeling this rifle will set a new bar for many of us.

even if I don't recognize you BadAsMo )), will be a pleasure do be there again and THANKS for the good word. Do you have any idea when the match will be held and if there is a conflict with Raton ?

I think the rifle can definitely set new standard for the FTR class. The present weekness of the rifle is the barrel contour. I can put another 1pound on the contour and it would definitely help the vibration caused by the loooonnnnngggg pipe.

As much as I would like to see you there on a personal level, I fear for my ego. The ORA match is the weekend after the long weekend at the beginning of August, I'm thinking August 9, 10, 11 but that is not confirmed.

You might remember my rifle... Tube gun with a string on the bipod, if that rings a bell.

BadAsmo,

you were right on dates for Borden as its been confirm by Fazal. It's just before leaving for Raton a couple days after $%^&$^%&$^ Will still try to make it as like I said, really liked the people and the range !!

I'm not much for benchrest type rifles, but that thing reminds me of those old wooden speedboats from the 60's... which is to say, incredibly attractive.

SSOOOOO......after A LOT of work...find my loads for the 200gr Hybrid. Been also working on the 215gr without great success in a 1:11. My most accurate load is at 2680fps within a 0.2moa for 10 shots in a row. The other one......is.....0.30-0.35moa but at 2740fps !!!!!! That is the one i'm keeping for the "long ride"........hard on the shoulder but dam accurate....

see you all on the range....tomorrow is my first day at Connaught...cant wait......cant sleep...too excited....like a little child who is gonna see Santa for the first time ))))

a BIG THANKS for all the good words
