Recently picked up a mossberg 144 target rifle with the intention of flipping it but have become attached. Just wondering if any other members have one and would share info gathered on it.
Thanks !

I have one that is in mint condition that I bought many years ago. Went to the SHOT SHOW and Mossberg had one in their display, condition wasn't all that great. The Mossberg rep told me it was one of their big seller's at the time. Take it out an shoot it and you will see why. Mossberg 22 rifles are classic's and you don't see as many as you used to. Many have the plastic fold down foregrip. Magazines are and issue, but there are a few companies making them and you have to fit them.

I also have a 144 LS-B. These have the heaviest barrel Mossberg ever put on a rimfire.

Mine shoots very well, but is not quite in the same class as my 40X or SUHL 150.

Using RWS Rifle match, it shoots about .3" average at 50M, which is not shabby.
I would not hesitate to take it to an informal match.

I have a 144 LSB . They are great guns. However, the barrel on my 46Bt target rifle is heavier. I think there were less than 900 46Bt's made.

I've got a few questions about these:
How long are the barrels? Any taper or totally straight? How adjustable is the trigger?

Cheers,
Grant

Yes, there were just over 800 46BT's made. I also owned one, and it is strange that your 46BT barrel is larger than your 144LSB, because mine was not.
Mine was exactly the same diameter as the 144 LSA I owned at the time, and that is just a bit smaller than the LSB.
Can you measure your two at the muzzle and post the respective diameters, please?
