No. There are peoplenin the states that give the pre ban norincos high praise for being a work horse.

I don't know young fresh, cheap and good, based on what everyone is saying here so far. it depends on what you will be using it for.
With that many left in stock I will be picking up another kit in June!! ,,,,$170,,,for a new .45 1911, shipped to me all the way across the country,, FREE,,, and some folks can still get their mouth up to complain about a couple week wait!?

Well for me it's bin about 3 weeks and they haven't even got the transfer going. Once they finally decide to I'm lookin at another 4-5 weeks at the BC CFO.

I'm not seeing the good... Cracked grips, shoty finish, sharp edges, 10 pound trigger pulls. The list go's on if you read the thread.

But whatever... It is what it is.

How many people's decision to buy this deal, was influenced by the fact that the gun has no "Norinco" or "Made in China" stampings?

It was secondary for me, because I have had excellent results with Norinco products, but it was definitely a factor.

Having no markings just made the deal that much better.
You can't get a 1911 and 1000 rounds for 523.95

I just finished getting that blue finish off. Right now I'm just polishing everything up to a shine. Pics are coming. Actually I might put the pics in the 1911 thread
