Well I was bored over the weekend so I decided to play around with my duracoat and do up 3 of my 870's to see what they would look like with some odd colours haha so here goes...we got Graveyard Black, Rotting Flesh, and Tombstone grey with some zombie killing stencils hahaa anyways check em out...I now paint every single gun I buy with this stuff, left one 870 wet for 3 days and not a single speck of rust. It rustproofs the gun and anyone that owns an 870 knows how fast rust shows up, not no more!

The mustard gun is growing on me. Canola field camo.
Aim a little higher if you are going to paint stuff. Here's some ideas

The mustard man finally has his shotgun! I like the black, lend the other two to your buddies to motivate them to get their PAL and buy their own guns lol.
"Aw I got the mustard gun...this sucks..."

Hahah I always get the mustard gun! Lots of duracoat on order so all 3 will be black again next week, I'm trying to find a colour I really like and do one of my ksg's but it MUST be a good colour not a nasty colour like the rotting flesh haha...thinking of doing my grizzly/870 too but don't know what colour either..

What colour Cerakote and where did you get it? Burnt Bronze?
I MUST KNOW SINCE I LOVE IT!!!!!

A guy local too me saw a thread where I was #####ing that alberta tactical wouldnt do shotguns he bought a bunch of it and was nice enough to do mine for me and yup its burnt bronze
I think he ordered the cerekote direct

my experience is that Cerakote is superior in every way. It's harder, more durable, and covers better with a thinner film layer. It's teh best coating on the market. Too bad it's so hard to get small quantities for a DIY type of guy.

Sounds like I am going to order some and see how much more superior it is to duracoat. Duracoat is easy to use, durable and is very strong, I don't think I will be taking these guns to Afghanistan so the wear and tear will be from normal use
