Anyone know if the Troy G36 rails will fit the Archangel Nomad?

If its like most quad rails based on the G36 you will need to modify it to fit, more details here http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?795924-My-Heavily-Modified-Marauder/page2.
Although since that troy rail is a combined carry handle and hand-guard it might need even more.

Yeah, its not exactly cheap... but I figured the airsoft fore grips probably run $100 to the door, and the sights are included on the rails, probably $150, so not too bad a value. The LCF is worth another $100 :)

Thanks Sleepy G, your thread is one of the G36C conversions on CGN that inspired me to try my own. What I'm not clear about your fore end is, once the "C" shaped pivots on the lower rear were sanded off, the only thing holding your fore end on is the pin..and friction? Its a tight fit?

the C type is very tight, actually tighter then the K type hand-guard that I fit first that has the whole portion of the "C" at the bottom. the bottom portion of the "C" isn't actually necessary since the hand-guard is slopped to the rest of the stock. As long as you don't over file the distance between the hand-guard pin and where the hand-guard rests on the stock pins.

D'oh...yeah I forgot that the slope would keep it snug. I'm going to go a cheaper route, found a decent quality airsoft hand guard that looks like the Nomad one, but only two 'vent holes' long. I'll post pics when it gets here.

that troy rail is like 350$ you better off trying to source out a SL8 and doing a g36 conversion at that rate!

Oh man. I never heard of an SL-8 before. Now I see what that is, and the fact its not restricted, I fear you have started me on a very expensive path! I've been stating at the SL 8 pic thread and I think my wallet is going to take a beating haha!
