Promags new 9-22 (Ruger) mag review.

Well I received the Gen. 3's today... all I can say right now is, I'm impressed. :p After breaking them in with 20 rounds of dummy ammo, the mags are now sitting and feeding properly, and unlike the 2nd Gen, the 3rd Gen. wont dissengaged from the well if you push the mag forward.

The only difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen I noted is the notch located at the rear, where Gen 3's are lower compared to gen 2's.

your pics don't work in this subsection. Can you just image tag them instead of putting them as attachments. Thanks

How do you tell what gen the mags are?

I'm looking at some online with model number AA922-A1.

Are these likely gen 3 or is there no way to tell? Doesn't say anywhere in the product description.

Thanks guys

We have had the Battledyne & the 9-22s both before, the problem is they can be problematic in some of the 10-22s. We have stopped bringing either one in, even though they look great, they sometime perform poorly. Promag is bringing in the next gen of 9-22s soon & we will be importing a batch one they are fully tested & proven! Probably sometime this summer.

How about the SR22? Problems in them too?
