NDP was defeated in BC last night. In the past months, I was in such a mood: "This will be my last hunt for Grizzly", "This will be my last hunt for elk"...., Now we know we are free from 4 more years.

Happy hunting to all in BC

I don't looky up very often and ask for forgiveness, but I did ask in my
politest, sweetest, most sincerest thoughts may the good Lawrd make it ith
the one with girlie parts win.
Phew..........it worked.................aye..........?

Its a happy day for gun owners, hunters & anyone who looks toward tomorrow and not living in the moment... DIX got thumped, 4 more years of common sense

Sorry to go against the flow here but given the level of corruption exhibited by the Liberal administration it is not really a win for the populace. To my knowledge the NDP gave no indication they were going to shut down hunting. I did not vote for them, but as far as running the province into the ground, we are presently in the deepest debt we have ever been (Olympics, BC Place roof etc). Kids are on buses for three hours a day in the north because of shut down schools. I guess this really belongs on the political forum. Just trying to make the point that there was a lot more at stake here than our hunting rights. BCR scandal for instance, being a railroader I had a front row seat to that fiasco and it was not pretty. Sorry but it seems a vote for the Liberals was a vote to continue selling off this province to their buddies. I hope I am wrong.

Socialist tend to restrict rights, implement tighter gun laws, those are much more dangerous than anything you listed above.. you may no like the liberals but trust me your guns are safer with a government that leans to the right than the left

Last year, I was very close to getting a provincial gov job before Liberal Gov shut down future hiring. But I look it differently than you do. The problems you listed only get worse with NDP. Shutting down low attendance schools is a good idea to reduce the deficit. If kids need 3 hours on a bus, maybe home schooling them is a better choice.

BC Liberal has done many bad things, but NDP will never do one good thing. Period

So you fear something that might be under you bed as well? I believe it was a canadian Liberal gov't. that put in the crazy gun laws we now have. Sorry should not have stuck my foot in a "political discussion" there is usually no logic or reason in these type of things.

When I woke up this morning, I found my septic system all backed up. Called the honey wagon and he removed all the NDP campaign promises that were plugging up the system. Works fine now!

I knew someone would compare the federal liberals to the provincial.... let me tell you they have nothing but a name in common, the federal liberals are left leaning the provincial are right... the provincial liberals have quite a nice working relationship with the federal conservatives and get along quite nicely which makes me happy... as to what is under my bed, I gather you mean to imply paranoia.... if that's what you want to think that's fine but history shows the more left a government the more they take away from the people including guns and rights... look at your history books

Oh and fee free to step in to the political discussion, just expect to be educated when you respond not knowing the differences in parties

The Olympic bid was started by the NDP, FYI

The NDP shut down grizzly hunting last time they were in power.

It's what they do...

Imagine the mess we'd be in if the NDP ran the Olympics, I shudder to think

If you love your guns and your rights you should never vote to the left

You have to know that corruption is part of the government. It does not matter which party it is.
