SHOT SHOW UPDATE#1: BOBERG ARMS coming to Canada!!!

To whom it may concern at Wanstall's,
why must you force all of my money from my bank to your store. If you cared about me at all you would stock crappy stuff I don't want, raise your prices , and treat me poorly when I come in instead of forcing me to throw money at you like a stripper.

That is all.

LMAO That pretty much sums it up right there! And I do it with a smile on my face.

You are a fount of knowledge, Aniest! :). Thanks for both your previous two posts - I read them thoroughly and gratefully! And despite the nay-sayers, you know where I'm going to be tomorrow at noon PST!!! :D

Well, you are welcome. I think the Boberg is a good firearm and a company that could use exposure; but that's my opinion. Not every gun manufacturer has the history and money of Winchester or Browning to introduce a new design. I know the firearm, due to price alone, calibre choice or some older reviews, might not be for everyone: so I don't expect to sway the nay-sayers. I just hope to help bring the presented information forward to those who might feel they'll miss out on the first ones to Canada. :)

Is anyone else planning on reloading for this pistol? I have great results reloading 9mm for a M&P using Berrys 125gr projectiles. I'm thinking a decent crimp should do the trick.
Any reloaders willing to comment?

I shoot exclusively reloads in 9mm. As of now, my loads have no crimp.
I read the separation is less frequent in the -l model (the one we can buy here). But it's as simple as giving a couple of turns on the die to crimp the bullet in place, which I'll do when I'll first shoot it (in like 6 months :-(

i carry everyday ;) do you really care if you get the odd stove pipe or w/e i wouldn't and there is alot of wieners on this forum that have american mentalities and are slaves to the niche of the gun community if you want a reliable gun shoot wheel guns if you want rare cool guns you will always have something quirkie going on with them

Got to shoot one last weekend. Very interesting little pistol. DAO trigger pull is long, but smooth, and not heavy. Recoil is not an issue, notwithstanding size. Very shootable, easy to get hits. As I said, very interesting.

First, was it the 7.5lb spring I assume? If it was, and with the popularity of the 6lb according to Wanstalls, I wonder what you think if it had the lighter trigger?

Second, I was hoping you were Wanstalls with an update... Like info on colored grips, or delivery date... *sigh* :HR:

No, I was just commenting on the pistol; Wanstalls was not the importer. We were wringing this one out, gaining experience with it. I don't know the weight of the trigger. It was manageable.

I guess Wanstaal's already sold every one of the XR9-L pistols we shipped to them. I'm assuming they went to guns stores (hopefully) near you. We are in the process of making more.
