Previously I was having some issues with my 10 year old plus Bushmaster AR-15A3 16" HBAR doubling on me,, and doing frequent bursts. I was told to swap out the lower parts, and might be disconnector spring, or whatever. Was also mentioned that I just do a trigger upgrade.....and I did.

I ordered the RRA National Match 2-stage trigger, and just installed it. Took less than 5 min, easy as pie. No offense to Ellwood Epps (cause I luv em lol) but they're like, send it to us, it'll be back in 4 to 6 weeks lmfao....took me f@ck'n 5 minutes lol, god bless YouTube ;)

Anyway...it's absolutely amazing. Breaks like glass, and is super crisp with a sharp let off. After the 1st stage is depressed....the second stage is like a sniper rifle...so precise and super smooth...very happy with my choice to get the trigger upgrade on my AR.

Thanks to all the GunNutz who emphasized the importance of a good match trigger, this weekend I'm heading up to do some 100/200 yard precision shooting with my 10-round RRA mags, and scope mounted on the flattop ;)

If anybody is thinking about swapping out their stock AR trigger for a match trigger....I highly recommend it. Super easy to do your self, and worth the upgrade.

Happy Shooting ;)

Nice!

I haven't tried the RRA, but I have the Armalite 2-stage match trigger in my AR and love it.

I have had 3 lowers with the RRA two stage trigger. They each weighed in at: 4.15lbs, 4.14lbs and 4.8lbs respectively. These numbers were got with a 5 pull average with a Lyman digital gauge.

I'd be really curious to know what the other trigger brands are pulling especially the JP.

trigger makes a good difference when doing precision shots.
right now my restricted range is a standing 60 feet max so it's not really worth it.

When we get the indoor range, the outdoor might serve as a 115 feet target range, but that's still not very far.

That's why I'm not really into spending money on my ar... I can't really shoot it anyway,

I would rather mod my su16F or future T97

I have one too. I am happy with it. A good mid priced option. I just wasn't willing to spring the coin for a Geisele.

Remember buy once cry once... I had a RRA NM 2-stage, while it's lighter pull than factory, the reset was horribly long and it's nowhere near the smoothness and adjustability of a Geissele 2-stage.... break is as crisp as a Swiss Arms.

Yes....you do make an excellent point there. The trigger reset is very long, and nowhere near as good as the stock Bushmaster trigger that I've become so accustom to, when firing my Bushy....but I'll get use to it. I've learned to adapt...as soon as the shot breaks I immediately release my finger from the trigger and let the mechanism do all the work resetting.....then it's back to the super smooth 2-stage operation.

Good point though...

I follow through and keep the trigger depressed for a couple of seconds until I deliberately let off. Make's no difference to me how long or gritty the reset is. I have no doubt the Geiselle is a better trigger. It probably has improved lock time as well.

Same here. My AR sees use shooting from the bench at the range or blasting Prairie Dogs in South Dakota. Maybe a bigger deal for the tactical shooting guys...
