ordered on the 25th. didn't hear anything called last Friday they said they would get my order ready either one Monday or Tuesday still no word as of today getting kinda frustrated.

I got some the same on eBay about 2 months ago. they cost me about $120 shipped. I just ordered a GSG 1911.22 and it will be here later next week. I will let you know! The grips are made for a full size 1911 so I am sure they will work on the GSG

lol it took til a couple days ago to get all the stuff done from the 23rd, I ordered on the 25th too, and nothing,

just wait till you pick up your 1000 round crate, and realize how heavy it is,

then thing they are having to un pallet, box and ship hundreds of these in addition to their normal orders.


not to mention they have to eat all the cheese first so that they can use the boxes for shipping

Most likely they send to NB for a reason, because of the short processing time? I will safely assume this isn't their first rodeo. They are processing day by day and are somewhere on the April 24th orders. They're human so just watch as people post their updated status.
 
I ordered in the wee hours of April 27th, modified my order on May 3rd to add some trigger locks(thanks Paul!). Card was charged on May 5th, now waiting for the next steps along with everyone else.
 
I'm guessing that as CanAm gets to the later dates ..... there are fewer orders each later date to deal with, so the process may get a little faster.
Day 1 and 2 of this sale must have been nuts!

I ordered on the 25th thinking that I was going to get the very last one ;) I had no idea of the numbers that CanAm was dealing with!

I'm happy waiting for this sweet deal.

Yea if mine is as nice as yours I will be ordering another by mid June if they hold out!! The Buffet is the grips, wow are there a lot to choose from, can you confirm that thers do not have ambi safeties, just so I oder the right grips,,or does it really matter!?
 
No ambi safety.

Shot mine today. No complaints, but Break in definitely required. Good thing it comes with 1000 rounds. If anyone wants to go halfers, I'll take the ammo and you take the gun.

Std 1911 grips fits the GSG 1911. With a 22lr lackluster recoil grip doesn't matter much. With 45 need a good grip, the G10 are nice.

Not necessarily. I ordered some hogue pearl zombie grips for my GSG and I had to notch out another quarter inch due the ambi safety. Not much work but it did have to be modified. Was well worth it though.
