I was out shopping in my local canadian tire and was quite stunned to see 2 lovely tavors sitting in the firearm rack. What surprised me the most was the price. These were going for 2499.00 about 200$ less then most competitors. I thought this is note worthy for anyone trying to save a few bucks

LOL!!! Canadian Tire is getting their hands in EVERYTHING! I saw a few '58s / 858 the other day, but that is extremely exotic for CT!

I wouldn't be surprised if there were credit card applications/kiosk nearby.. lol

Indeed. From what I've seen, the Fredericton store had a huge display of SKS and SVT-40 back when I was up there in February, the St. Stephen store had a .40 JR carbine and 7.62 CSA VZ-58 about a month and a half ago, and now I see this. All I can say is awesome!!!!!

From the sounds of it the owners down here have been putting alot of effort in getting the best stuff. next step Handguns and AR's.

In the GTA they don't even sell hunting gear anymore. I was in CT here and was told that they are phasing out firearm related goods in the GTA.

Man it sucks here.

I would a buy a tavor from ct just because! Lame selection of ammo and some hunting gear here. The fact it's a bit cheaper than most retailers is strange.
