sks shortage?

thanks to everyone that replyed on this thread. i got my evil russian baby eater from wholesale sports in langley today they got lots apparently. 100 points to points for pointing me in that direction

Do you recall if they were refurbished or nonrefurbished etc ??? Thanks

I just picked up a '54 Tula from Urban Tactical, the Tapco stock should arrive shortly, I'll be doing more research about the SKS in the meantime. Looking forward to shooting cheap surplus 7.62x39, I think it's a great way for me to get into centrefire rifle.

They were all Laminates though, where they not? I thought Laminate suggested refurb? I didn't look all that close when I was in there last week, but the couple I saw out were definitely laminates

They didn't look laminated to me, but I could be mistaken. The fellow I spoke to told me they were un-issued and non-refurbished. I took a quick glance at the manufacturer stamp and it was Tula.

ive called 3 local stores in my area and they are all sold out of sks and say they dont know when they will be getting more of them. i just got my pal and im finaly ready to buy one and they have all disapeared. plus i asked in the wanstalls forum if they had any in stock and my post just straight up got deleted, whats up with that?

Glad I bought 4 of them while I had the chance.
