1911 winter project, new pictures , different grips

This is a frame from one 1911, a slide from another, which I did a little work to during the winter. All internal parts are from Wilson Combat. The checkering is 30 lpi, slide and outside parts are rust blued and finally the frame has been colour cased by Oskar Kob , St Peters N.S The bottom photo was supposed to show the checkering but for some reason photobucket cut it off.
Found some better pictures with a different set of grips which look better.

I recall seeing one in the 'Shooter's Bible.' It was on a higher end piece, I believe. I really like how the OP's turned out. Great job.
