Blond stock is very nice

I may be off base here, but you should NOT be using such heavy bullets in your SVT. The SVT is designed and regulated to use military issue 147gr Light ball rounds. It is not and never was designed to fire the very heavy 203gr bullets. Using those rounds could potentially wreck your rifle. I know that M14 users avoid any bullet over 165gr, and usually prefer to stick with the lighter 155 and 150gr bullets for much the same reason.

@Blastattack
you are right in every way but that is way i love the svt 40 its adjustable gas system lets me at the lowest setting and i only fire 5 of them a year if that the rest is the 147gr ball.
m1 is like that too but does not have a gas adjustment so i only m1 ammo for it

Are you asking if cartridges that served European hunters for years, one being similar in performance to .30-06, are still capable of killing stuff now that there are more powerful cartridges? Does your truck go slower if your neighbour supes his up, or does his just go faster? Go kill some s**t!

@supernova
nice so both cartridges are good for moose Iv never hunted them so i wasn't sure if i had the POWER so thank you

sugar and rice would fix that and i intend to im just not looking forward to hauling that thing at least for times
