Chinese type 10 .50 sniper, when can we see it in Canada?

non sense....i wont buy it...dont trust norinco at this level of weapons
Suit yourself. Good enough for the People's Liberation Army, good enough for me.

In any case it would have to be on par or cheaper than the Serbu .50, and with Tactical Imports selling the Type 88 at a mere $3K I doubt that as a likely scenario. I'm also going to opine that this thing shoots 12.7x108mm, NOT 12.7x99mm. Ammunition supply would be a concern unless also brought in from China, and again it's not likely you'd get it much cheaper than domestic .50 BMG. Even if everything was indeed cheaper, I could hardly see a business owner passing on the opportunity to sell at "market value" and have a healthy profit margin. Let's face it, .50 cal is not a volume sales interest.

Would love to be proven wrong though.

It isn't a 50 BMG. It is a 12.7x108mm round which is a larger cartridge than 50 BMG/12.7x99.

Milarm in Edmonton has a can of it sitting on the counter... so it can be got somehow.

Yup. They also said that they wanted to import something to shoot and were told "not a chance".
By whom, precisely? Non restricted is non restricted, and plenty of similar examples exist in country.

Unless they were trying to bring in a DShK...
