Desert tactical arms

Shooting Edge and I read somewhere that there was a place either in Grande Prairie or Peace River that was bringing them in.
Here is mine from Shooting Edge :D

Thank you cr5 for your beautifull pics.
I have contacted TSE yesterday but no answer.
Despite the price I really want one of these toys especially regarding the possibility to change easily the caliber by always keeping a compact rifle.

I keep thinking of one of these, but would like to see what they look like after 1000 rnds.

What are you trying to say?
1000 rounds without cleaning? Why would you do that to any precision rifle?
Do you thing they will fall apart after 1000 rounds? They are built like a tank. I can't imagine anything breaking anywhere on mine unless I threw it out of a plane at 30000ft.
Mine is no range princess either and has been slung over my back for full days out on the quad which is great because there is no long barrel snagging passing trees on tight trails, and it gets thrown in and out of the truck on hunting trips. I wipe it off and it looks new again.

Instead of thinking about them get out there and hold one and shoot one. The decision will become obvious and you will have no choice but to buy one.
When you see the size of it compared to any other traditional rifle with a 26 inch barrel there really is no comparison. It's great in the bush, it's great in the truck, and it's great at the range.

Picture is of a target on my first day out with mine using factory Hornady 250gr ammo and a cheap Millett scope. Caliper was set to as close to center to center as I could figure. The range was in yards not meters though. 3 shot group and I know I should have put more in but tore the target down when I saw the group. I had to go down to check the target because I couldn't tell where the second and third shot hit.
I have a couple different handloads that will do 1/2 moa but I know it can do better so I'm still fiddling with my recipe and seating depth.

Solidly built from what I have seen at the Shooting Edge. Fantastic builds. I'm curious as how the trigger feels on these? Bullpop design so there is that question.

Triggers are light, but long. If you are not concerned about having a working safety, they can be adjusted to get rid of the long take-up. Your safety will not function if you do this though. I had a Covert in .308 for a while. Awesome feeling, stupidly accurate rifle with a "looks cool" factor off the charts. It was WAY to heavy for what I wanted to do with it, so sold it. No other complaints besides the weight.

Not necessarily without cleaning, but at least used a lot for which I would say 1K rnds is a starting point.

The DTA package looks and feels good, but I use my toys, and don't want something that will have significant wear or come undone in the process. I have handled some, and shot a couple, but they were all low round count rifles.

The length is appealing for hikes though.

I am patiently waiting for the DTA HTI in 50BMG to land at TSE, Dlask arms posted on here that they were bringing in the HTI as well, not sure about the other models.

There is a huge wait time on orders, roughly a year.

The only thing that will wear out is the barrel. Just like every 338 Lapua out there they only have so many rounds of accurate service life. As for the chassis I can't see anything wearing out or breaking unless you were being really stupid. This is a precision rifle not an AR-15 you need to respect it but it definitely doesn't need to be babied.

That is nothing like my trigger. Not even close. Plus it's fully adjustable although I haven't touched it since I'm very happy with the feel of it.
Mine still surprises me sometimes. It breaks clean and crisp with no take-up. It is very light and is one of the best triggers I've pulled. It isn't quite as good as my buddy's 338 but he had ATRS build him one with a Nasika action and a Jewel trigger.
Any time I let someone try it I make them dry fire it a couple times first to get used to how light it is.
