okay people~~ please, before judging me: tell me what do you need this gun for? Long range precision for sure EH?~ and you guys actually put your faith in this $2000- $3000 semi-auto norinco made commercial rifle on a thousand yard target ?!

it's not me being ignorant.....what im saying is that save your money for a better gun that will work 2x or 3x better than this......



about when it's coming in...I read the Chinese news saying this gun is JUST equipped to the PLA, so I think Norinco will have to finish all the orders from PLA first.....you guys wont see it around until 2015 for sure~~~

I think that most buyers of this gun, want to shoot a 50BMGish cartridge, as cheaply as possible. And just to say they have one.

Indeed. Guy has never even SEEN this firearm let alone handled or fired it and is immediately making prejudicial judgments based solely on it's country of origin, probably oblivious to the fact that 80% of what we own and use day-to-day is made in China now (kind of like the computer you and I are reading this on).

Since when did we have to start justifying our needs vs. our wants, especially to a fudd on CGN?

The anti's say the same thing about hand guns. Start restricting one type of gun because "what do you need that gun for" opens the door that is best kept shut.

I'm not much of a Norinco fan because I don't like the idea of Chinese made firearms but its not mine or your place to tell people what they should or shouldn't want. But I did just buy a cough cough Dominion Arms Grizzly cough. So I'm kind a hypocrite now.

It's like you being a smart car owner telling a Ferrari owner he doesn't need a Ferrari.

You have never seen this rifle in person or fired it so to make such bold statements is really unnecessary and in that regard ignorant. Live and let live, if someone wants to pursue it then so be it. The only other option to this is the Serbu 50 Semi auto and several have had issues with it so maybe the Norinco model here isn't such a bad deal. Time will tell I guess.

And it's China dude, they can open up and mass produce for civilian sales and export if they really want to.


I just bought this 1919a4 that I can legally load a 250 round belt into. You gonna start questioning why I need a rare unique piece of history?
