is there a place for a count down clock?
You can mount a side rail on anything, but unless you have a bent bolt handle you will need to stick with a scout or forward mount, since the bolt handle goes straight up when you work it. Check out Brass Stacker (google it) for a good scout mount, they ship to Canada. There are other options as well, but I would stay away from the NCStar style mounts that replace the rear sight unless you replace the two flimsy side screws with a single nut and bolt that goes right through the sight block. If you get a bent bolt handle, look at Accumounts PEM style mount that goes on the top of the receiver, they are on EBAY. ATI also sells a kit that comes with a top receiver mount and a bent bolt handle that attaches with a screw (weld it). Any scope you mount will ride high above the bore, some will just be higher than others. Good luck!
