I have been looking for case for sub 2000 and i founded solution to my problem. Canadian tire is seling 10 pcs clamp kit ( 057-2729-2) . It is not padded but has hard sides. Dimmension are 22"x8"x3", this is OK for sub 2k w/o accessories. Right now this set is only 15 bucks on sale.

Don't know if you already purchase a case, but if you decide to put a quad rail and/or add a bunch of mods like I did you will find that a perfect fitting soft case will suddenly become way too small. I had been transporting my beretta model in a 19" notebook case measuring 20'" long and 3.5" deep prior to mods. Now it's way too big. With the 30mm red dot, folding fore grip and stock extension it now needs a case about 6" deep 12" long and 21" long ...
