Guns For Petite Women

My girlfriend wants to get a handgun but she cannot find an appropriate gun (low recoil, small handle, light-weight etc.).

She is petite and has exceptionally small hands.

The only ones that are appealing to her are the lemon-squeezers which are, of course, prohibited.

Any suggestions?

"...the CZ75..." Too big for small hands. As is any other double action pistol.
"...take her to a store and get a hands on..." Absolutely. It's the only way for her, I say again, her, to find a handgun that fits her. Mind you, a great deal depends on what she wants to do with a hand gun.
 
My wifes friend is really tiny/petite 4'11 and 100 lbs soaking wet. It took her a while to find a pistol that she liked. She eventually settled on the Walther p22.

A Phoenix Arms HP22 would work perfect for small hands also you can get Beretta model 71-74 with a restricted barel.
I have- had both these pistols and they were favourite among the new girl shooters.
 
If she wants to try a centerfire pistol with little recoil and a slide that's easy to operate, give me a shout. She can test drive my X-Calibur.
It comes with 4 backstraps, so one is liable to fit.

If she likes the grip size but still wants a .22lr, the K22S should be coming shortly. (My guess is before September.)
