Ordered April 24th,informed April 26th I mistyped card number(my bad),May 6th to CFO and shipped May 16th,attempted delivery Friday 17th(not home),picked up May 21st from depot,would have been sooner but long weekend

A restricted bought from store a week earlier I only got the paperwork yesterday afternoon after repeated attempt at calling the CFO to find out what was happening...it seems the orders aren't handled in the order they show up in.Good news is work site 2 blocks from store so it's home safe now

Wow! I ordered the same day as you (April 24) and same province (BC) and mine wasn't sent to CFO until May 14 and it has yet to be approved and shipped. I've ordered enough guns from CanAm to know to expect to wait but I would also expect orders to be processed chronologically!

Ordered April 24th, Payment Accepted April 29th, Transfer initiated May 14th, CFO approved May 16 (Paperwork in hand) and still waiting for it to ship. Just my 2c, have lots of other toys to play with ....lol

That number gets thrown around way too much. My first ever gun transfer in April took 2 business days and it was an ONT to BC private transfer. My second one from Wolverine took 1 week. I called in and the operator was happy to complete the transfer for me on the spot.

That is the # they tell you if you ask .
Dealers are usually quicker.
With the volume of transfers CanAm is throwing at them they will be slower than normal if they even have a normal

I ordered on April 23rd had the transfer started 14th, went to the BC cfo office on the 16th got it approved. Had my gun Tuesday and out to the range Thursday night, I'm quite impressed with the way it shoots no problems whatsoever.

Ordered two things the 1911 Combo and another gun.
I can forgive the Combo taking plus thirty days , excellent deal ...
But the gun I ordered full price after it , still in Billed only status . 17 days later .... . . .


Called and said I need the gun for ipsc and if you can move that particular order along that would be great.
Fellow answering the phones is indifferent.
Bitter , no. Vote with my money , yes.

My last transfer a couple months back was 11 business days (Good for BC's recent standards)

This latest one is not holding true to that standard.

You kinda of have to wonder what the hell is going on there for that statement. I'm all for waiting a bit for a deal, but i'm failing to see what takes so long? Last restricted at a store, within 5 minutes of purchasing, I have a transfer number and i'm out the door. Last website purchase, three days from order, I have a transfer number. I'm going on 30 days from date of order and still no transfer. A phone call and email later and i'm still being told, "oh, by the end of the week". They must have a database of what's sitting in the warehouse for guns. I mean they all have serial numbers on them and i'm sure lots of paper work is needed for import from china. I would like to know what is the dis-connect from receiving a order being dumped into a queue from your website, matching up a serial number and frt from your database and sending it off to the CFO? Reading past posts they seemed to be doing this by hand. Wow, Does the CFO charge a large amount of money to be able to send it electronically? I know they are busy with the influx of orders, and they still have a life, but when stuff like this happens, you need to pull up the boot straps and clear it up any any means. No one said working for your self is easy, other wise we all would be doing it. Your running a business , you have to be ready for what may come your way. Please don't hate me for saying what a lot of guys who ordered this and are in the same boat as I are thinking. And no, i'm not cancelling, like many of you who ordered, its a great deal and dealing with Canam is from what I hear a great thing, But 30 days with full payment completed after the first five and nothing up to this point?
